The Inquizitive Team
Louise Smith – Is the brain child behind Inquizitive. She moved from the UK with her husband in 2006 and decided to challenge herself, so opened the coolest game shop in Tasmania! She has loads of favorite games and puzzles, which change depending on who she is with!
Currently her favourite game would be Trio Vision, and the one to play with the kids would be Sorts for Kids. As for puzzles currently her favorite is Race Around the World, closely followed by the IQ Puzzler and/or Addict-a-ball.
When Louise is not working for Inquizitive you will find her looking after Curtis who was born in September 2009! She is also very crafty and can be found doing a cross-stitch or some type of sewing project.
Rachel Wood – Has worked at Inquizitive since it opened its doors on Tasmania in May 2007.
Her favorite game changes all the time because they are always coming up with new ones. Today her favorite game would be Labyrinth because she can beat her family at that one. Rachel’s favorite puzzle would be ei8ht because there are a dozen ways to solve it.
When Rachel is not at Inquizitive, she likes hanging out with her husband, her two children, two dogs and 3 (at the moment anyway) goldfish playing board games. Not the goldfish though – they cheat! She also likes spending time at the beach, and with all her family involved in scouts and camping (preferably at the beach) Rachel is kept very busy.
Tracey Cameron – Has also worked at Inquizitive since it opened its doors on Tasmania In May 2007. Currently her favourite games are: Trio Vision and Sequence, her favourite puzzles are: Camoflage and Addict-a-ball.
Tracey is married and has 2 children who all love going to there Beach House as often as possible. It’s great to get away and go for walks, bike riding, boogie boarding and playing board games on those nice cold wintery days. Tracey also loves to read books and just recentley discovered she can sew ( well as long as you don’t look to closely that is). Tracey has made pyjama bottoms and a few hand bags as well as a few other bits and pieces, Tracey’s friends and family are amazed by her sewing abilities!!!!!!
Janine McDonald – joined Inquizitive in March 2011, so for she has learnt how to play a few games and out of those games she likes Ruk Shuk, Labyrinth and is looking forward to enjoying many more.
Janine is married with 2 girls, and loves to get away whenever possible, or just take a family drive for the day.

Kim Grainger – joined Inquizitive in March 2009 and she is filled with childish excitement each and every time new games and clever gadgets are introduced to Inquizitive. The products responsible for the most elevated of heart rates for Kim, would be Balderdash, Kogworks and Ruk-shak along with puzzles like Micro Cubes, Lokulus and anything which is an appropriate size to juggle.
Since moving to Launceston in February 2009, Kim has been studying Exercise Science at Utas and working for Inquizitive on Saturdays and School Holidays. She is most passionate about working with the youth at St John’s Anglican and also loves leading on amazing summer camps, cooking, running and spending time with lovely people and good coffee.
Jordan Hearn – joined Inquizitive in August 2009. Jordan’s time is spent juggling college, Inquizitive and working at PYCSAM as a fitness instructor.
Jordan’s favourite game is definitively Killer Bunnies (he is one of our most avid fans), his favourite puzzles are the Airport and Rush Hour!
Jordan has a house full of pets that he enjoys spending time with. Jordan lives with his older brother and his parents. When not at college or Inquizitive Jordan enjoys keeping fit, watching movies, reading and of course, playing games.
Alex McLean – Is the least favourite employee at Inquizitive having introduced the Top Banana’s husband to hockey (Sorry Louise!).
Alex was really pleased to get his first job at Inquizitive as it is “the coolest shop in town”! He joined the Inquizitive team in July of 2010, and has loved every minute of working. Alex studies at Launceston Grammar, and when he is not there he is at work.
Alex’s favourite game is Abalone and favourite puzzle is the Rubik’s cube.
Claire Rattray- Is the newest member of the Inquizitive team, joining in April of 2011. Claire’s Favourite puzzles are 12 ladies, Integr8 and Square off, but this is likely to change as the team introduce her to new games.
When not at St Patrick’s College studying hard, or at work, Claire enjoys spending time with her 2 sisters and her parents.
