Yes you did read that correctly(the Brain would never lie to you). We are running an in-store competition that let’s you have the chance to win our ex giant demo version of Rush Hour. Well the September school holidays are almost coming to an end and the Inquizitive Team have had a fantastic time.

What with Paper Fashion, Origami and building a dinousaur from the Enviroblox, we have really enjoyed the school holidays.

Our next Free School Holiday Activities will start in January 2011, once Santa has been to visit us all.

Can you believe that in only a few short weeks term 2 will be finished for another year? It makes the Brains well um brain hurt just thinking about it! For those of you who will be close by for all or some of the holidays check out our plan of activities that you can do. There are some great ones for you to try out. Go on, try something new and fun. We are!!!!!!

Inquizitive is running a fantastic competition at the moment. All you have to is come into the shop, spend over $25 ,fill in an entry form and you go into the running to win the Giant blokus that’s on display in the front window. You have until the 31st of August to enter. Giant Blokus, Giant FUN!!!!!!

The brain is excited to announce that we have a cool range of Green Science Projects for you to build and learn from. There’s a Spinning Top Generator, Solar Science kit, Clean Water Science, Dynamo Torch, Enviro Battery and a Windmill Generator. That should keep you busy for a while and if you could learn ways to look after the environment while you’re at it the Brain would be very pleased! The Brain likes it when people learn new things!!!

What better way to spend a cold winter’s day at school than playing with an assortment of Inquizitive games and puzzles. On Wednesdays Louise is traveling to schools to let students, parents and teachers have hands on experience with an assortment of  them to see how best they can be used in the classroom and at home. If you would like Louise to visit your school, have your teacher give us a call and arrange a day. The brain highly recommends it for a good day in!!!

The brains going to have trouble sleeping tonight! The guys from Mind Challenge who are responsible for games such as Kaleidoscope Classic, Kogworks, Blokus etc etc and most recently Race Around the World will be in our store on Saturday the 26^th of June from 11am. What a great opportunity to meet them and find out exactly how such cool games are invented. It’s also a great chance to pick their brains if you are thinking of entering the Exercise Your Mind Challenge. Keep the date free. It’s going to be a great day!!!
